PAINT

Types of paint

Manufacturers offer many paints a similar fate. Select the type of paint depends both on what area it will be painted, as well as prices. You can use products intended for use only in the interior or paint universal.

Interior paints can be: diluted with water known as water-based paints or diluted appropriate organic solvent (such as mineral spirits) called with solvent paints.

Water soluble paints – mineral, glue, emulsion, vinyl, acrylic, vinyl acrylic, latex and acrylic latex, while the solvent-based paints include alkyd paint, alkyd modified polyurethane resins and silicone.

You can also buy paint with special properties, for example with the addition of anti-fungal agents, paints completely opaque after one coat, paint, structural or spray. Structural paints applied as a thick mass, and invoices, using a variety of tools, for example, the special rollers, cloths. Spray paint is applied with a spray gun.

Spray Painting

Airless spray painting unit is modern and very efficient method of painting. Great for painting large surfaces: walls, ceilings, construction, elevation, etc. This method is ideal for spraying paints, enamels, varnishes, stains.

Spray painting is very high efficiency – 4 square meters per minute which gives from 800 to 1100 square meters per day.

The method by spraying paint provides excellent coverage, resulting in beautiful and smooth surface.

Paints have many vivid and strong colors – the choice is practically unlimited.

Roller Painting

Application by roller is a technique of layering of paint known since the nineteenth century.

The major advantages of this technique include:

  • simple, inexpensive equipment
  • ease of painting in different conditions, even in field conditions
  • particularly useful for the renovation painting , particularly at a partial renovation markers
  • good use of the coating material and the relatively small losses during application
  • much better performance than the paint when brushing
  • can be painted in all conditions – requires no additional power supply
  • the possibility of extending the handle to facilitate painting large and hard to reach surfaces without putting up scaffolding for example

Not recommended for use rollers to :

  • imposing catalog of fast
  • painting in adverse weather conditions ( lack of emulsified moisture ) and on the contaminated surface (dirt are dispersed in the paint)
  • priming

Brush Painting

Brushing is the oldest technique of layering of paint , already known in principle for centuries. Brush can be painted even in adverse weather conditions and completely cleaned substrate due to the possibility of emulsification is often a thin film of moisture present on the surface and disperse contaminants present on the surface (e.g., dust, corrosion products ) .

The major advantages of this technique include:

  • simple, inexpensive equipment
  • ease of painting in different conditions, even in field conditions
  • particularly useful for the renovation painting , particularly at partial renovation, marking , so . kneading welds and sharp edges , painting hard to reach areas
  • good use of the coating material and the relatively small losses during application
  • can be painted in all conditions – requires no additional power supply
  • good wetting of the substrate due to the possibility of good rubbing into the pores of the coating material and all kinds of surface irregularities

The disadvantages of this technique are:

  • especially small paint performance (approx. 10 m2 / h), the difficulty of imposing a catalog of fast and leave marks (brush marks), especially when painting a thick build products.
